Willows Class

Welcome to Willows Class

We are a mixed Key Stage 2 class who learn, play and support each other. Through personalised teaching approaches, targeted interventions, and a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, the children develop core academic skills alongside communication, social interaction, and independence. We enjoy working together on shared topics, creative projects and outdoor learning.

Thursday is our PE day and during the Summer Term, the children are given the opportunity to participate in weekly swimming sessions.

Reading books are changed each Friday.

We truly believe that every day brings new opportunities to shine, succeed, and feel proud of our achievements.

Fun facts about the class team

Susan:

· I have worked at Fellgate for a number of years now.

· I love having a fun, busy classroom where we can learn and grow together.

· I enjoy reading and sharing stories with the children and finding new innovative and inspiring ways to teach.

· I love spending time with family outside of work in particular my two nephews.

· I am really looking forward to having you in my class in September.

Andrea:

· I love listening to music and going to concerts.

· I like to cook and bake. I run an after-school cookery club for key stage 2 children which I really enjoy.

· My favourite things to bake (and eat!) are chocolate chip cookies.

· I also love reading and am never without a book!

Pat:

· I have been at Fellgate for several years now.

· I love the beach, going for long walks, gardening and listening to music.

· I also love different wild animals and other animals including cats and dogs.

· I enjoy a calm but fun classroom where the children are happy and relaxed.
