Welcome to Acorns Class

Acorns are a mixed Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 class who love learning, exploring and growing together. Our youngest children thrive with the support of positive role models, while our older pupils develop confidence, independence and leadership as they guide and encourage their friends. Kindness is at the heart of our classroom, and we work hard to build resilience by helping children persevere, try new things and learn from challenges.

Each child follows learning that is carefully matched to their stage, with strong foundations in early reading, writing and maths. We enjoy coming together for shared topics, creative projects and outdoor learning, where curiosity, imagination and teamwork shine. Our classroom is a happy, nurturing space where everyone feels valued, supported and excited to learn.
