Welcome to Oaks Class

Oaks is our energetic and ambitious Year 5/6 class, where every pupil is encouraged to aim high, believe in themselves and enjoy the adventure of learning. This year, our Year 6’s will be cheered on as they tackle their SATs with confidence and prepare for the exciting leap into secondary school. Meanwhile, our Year 5s will be stepping up, showing what they’re capable of and getting ready for the challenges and opportunities that Year 6 brings.

Together, we’ll dive into learning through engaging projects, hands-on activities, inspiring visitor, and amazing trips that spark curiosity. Oaks is a place where we work hard, laugh often and support one another—building the skills, resilience and enthusiasm we need for the year ahead and the bright future beyond.

Fun facts about the class team

Mr Graham

I am ultra-competitive and will always give 100% to win (even against children).
You will hear a lot about my children…all the time, in fact.
Every year, I give up something as a challenge. The only thing I could not give
up is coffee!
Believe it or not, I have skydived…despite being scared of heights.
I am movie obsessed and know lots of useless trivia about films and actors.
I love to travel and if I ever won the lottery, I would travel around the world.
I enjoy many sports but only play football and golf these days.
